Each year we sponsor a two-week Children's Theatre Camp at the Little Theatre. This year, in partnership with the Storybook Theatre of the Sands Theatre Center in Deland, the classes were designed for students ages 8-12 years old and were held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, Monday thru Friday. Director LaVerda Felton conducted the program, click here for enlargementwhich was designed to teach students the art of the theatre from making props, sets and costumes to auditioning, rehearsing and acting. A visual arts teacher and a diction coach also participated.

Ms. Felton is a long-time children's theatre teacher and director from Storybook Theatre. She holds a master's degree in Theater Education from New York University. She taught our 2003 Children's Summer Theatre Camp and directed our wonderful holiday production, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. During camp sessions, students were expected to bring their own lunch and snack.

Tuition for our 2004 Summer Camp was $175 per person.
